 Inmidiately after arrival we can visit the most important sights in Pest, such as the Hero's Square , where the statues of kings and princes can be found, who played an important part in Hungarian history. On the same tour we will travel to the Vajdahunyad Castle , where there are copies of original buildings from Hungary representing the different historical styles. Also, our tour will take us to the St. Stephen's Cathedral , the largest church in Budapest.
The program in the evening beginns in the Congress Centre at 18.00 with folkdances and wine-tasting.
The Gala Concert of the world-famous 100 Member Gipsy Orchester will be at 19.00.
Accomodation is at Hotel Novotel Centrum****. This nice building was built at the beginning of 20. century in Art Nouveau style and it has been recently renovated. The hotel is situated in the centre of Budapest, on the Rákóczi street, near the Great Boulevard.
 We will travel to the Buda Castle District in the morning. We are going to look at the pictures by Hungarian painters in the National Gallery . We can have a look in the Matthias Church and we will also stop to marvel at the picturesque view of "Pearl of Danube" from the Fishermen's Bastion.

Our tour will take us to the Gellért Hill , as well. We can have a wonderful view from the Freedom Statue.
Gala Evening with dinner at Hotel Novotel Centrum****.
 You will have a chance to take part in the New Year Mess in the Matthias Church. The Coronation Mess of Mozart is played and sung as a rule during the service.
Our tour will take to Szentendre in the afternoon. Szentendre (20 km from Budapest) is a town of artists with a picturesque Mediterranean atmosphere. It was built by Serbs and Greeks in the 18th century.
The town has a lot of interesting museums, orthodox churches, cafes and restaurants.
During a walk we will visit an exhibition by the world-famous Hungarian ceramic artist, Margit Kovács.
The New Year's Concert beginns at 20.00 in the beautiful Danube Palace.
Accomodation at Hotel Novotel Centrum****.
 We will visit the Royal Palace in Gödöllő . This is located 30 km from Budapest, in Eastern direction.
Our tour will take us to the largest Baroque palace in Hungary, that was used by the royal family between 1867 and 1918. After a hard period in the last 50 years the building has been beautifully renovated.
We will visit an exhibition of Baroque period and the former rooms of Franz Joseph and the popular Queen Elisabeth (Sissy).
